"O futebol é pátria, é paternidade. No sentido mais amplo e mais particular. O futebol resgata a autoestima de um país, e para o torcedor, o time do coração se mistura a sua própria história de vida. Assim foi comigo, torcedora apaixonada do Santos F. C., desde sempre. Meu pai me levava criança ainda, para ver o maravilhoso Santos de Pelé, o time de branco e seu característico futebol arte, invenção. Futebol que dá título ao filme, este futebol arte, é a marca do time até os dias de hoje com a geração Neymar."

"Football is country, it is paternity. In the broadest and most particular sense. Football rescues a country's self-esteem, and for the fan, the team they support mixes with their own story. That’s how it was for me, a passionate fan of Santos FC, from the start. My father took me as a child to see the wonderful Santos team of Pelé, the team in white and their characteristic, inventive, artistic football. The football that gives the film its title – this football-art – is the trademark style of the team to this day with the Neymar generation."
